The new trick is when I cook I have to leave the pan on the burner, even when the food is done, in case RRM gets up on the counter. Then at least he can't step on the hot burner.

Ha, ha. So, I turned around to work on the salad and when a suspicious feeling crept over me I turned back to look at the stove, and there was Robby IN the pot. Totally in the pot, like when he sits in the napkin bowl. I had boiled eggs in the pot and it was empty, sitting on the burner, which was now cooled. Another smaller pot was right next to the egg pot, with a wooden spoon, waiting for a can of soup. Robby reached his front paws out of the egg pot, grabbed the wooden spoon and was stirring away in the smaller pot (no soup, pot was empty). I tell you, I needed video of that one. He thought it was fun to bite the wooden spoon, too.

So, your SMART KEM is now realizing that when she cooks Robby will have to be vanquished to the laundry room, like he is when we eat. That's the ultimate trick.

Then later I was watching a video of a kitten chasing a remote mouse. It had a nice jingly tune to go with it, something like you'd hear at Bear Jamboree at Disney. Robby watched that video time and again, pawing at the mouse on the screen.

Then, my friend pointed out that the Rays have a DJ kitty in a commercial, he is spinning records and dressed in uniform, doing his darnedest to sell tickets. He looks an awful lot like Robby Boy. But Robby of course has the interesting facial freckles. Other than that they could pass for twins.

The Rays, speaking of, are trying to win tonight. LET'S HOPE SO. They started off with their pitcher doing well, then a two hour rain delay, this is the way it's going lately. But they are hanging in there.

We might have to get Robby a kitty cat.
